Media: Bulk Upload Pre-Recorded Files

Select a group of pre-recorded files from your computer, arrange them in the order you want, and apply them to your tutorial's steps in a single batch.

What's New

Adding pre-recorded media used to mean uploading each step's file one at a time. Now you can select a group of files from your computer, put them in order, and apply them directly to the steps already in your tutorial in one batch.

1. First, open up Team Tutorials and click on the 3 dot menu.

2. Click Media

3. If you choose to upload pre-recorded media you can upload all your step media files in bulk now.
Click Bulk Upload Media, then choose the files you wish to upload.
Hold Control on a Windows or Command on a Mac to select multiple files.

4. Once you've selected your files, you'll see them reflected here in a list. You can re-order them with the arrows or drag & drop to re-order.

5. Once you're happy with the order, Click Start Batch Upload.

6. Now we wait for it to upload....

7. Success! It's been uploaded.

8. Note that this Bulk Upload Media option is now grayed out because all the steps have media. You can either delete individual steps media or use the Delete all button on the right. The button will become active again.

Where to find it

From your tutorials page, open a tutorial's 3 dot menu and click Media, then Bulk Upload Media. Select your files, arrange them, and click Start Batch Upload. Walk through it in the tutorial above.

What you can do

  • Upload in one batch
    Select every step's file at once instead of repeating the upload for each step.
  • Arrange before uploading
    Reorder your files with the arrows or by drag and drop until they line up with your steps.

Good to know

  • Hold Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) to select multiple files.
  • Once every step has media, Bulk Upload Media is grayed out. Delete individual step media, or use Delete all, to make it available again.
