Updates to Organization Workflows in iorad

What's New

As your tutorial count grows, keeping everything organized takes more clicks than it should. The redesigned Tutorials & Libraries page puts organization front and center, with new views, quick-add options for categories, tags, and libraries, and a menu that shows every option at once. Dashboard has also been renamed Analytics and moved down the side panel.

14 STEPS

1. Organization and management of iorad tutorials revamp.

We now have a view switcher dropdown with all 3 view types.

2. You can view your content within a tutorial list, category or tag grouping. iorad will remember that view preference.

3. Our search is still front & center for you.

4. You can still sort your tutorials.

5. Same options as before.

6. As well as use the powerful powerfilter.

7. More to come here in the coming weeks.

8. You can now add or move tutorials to a category inline.

9. Choose or add to your existing list of categories.

10. Same goes for tags! Quickly and easily apply or create tags.

11. Again you can choose from your existing list or create new here.

Now we've added the ability to associate a color to your tags, as well.

12. Our 3 dot menu got a little glow up as well.

13. You can now easily view all our menu options within your view without having to scroll down.

Where to find it

Open your Tutorials & Libraries page and use the new view switcher dropdown to change how your content is grouped. Categories and tags can be added right from the list. Walk through it in the tutorial above.

What you can do

  • Switch views
    See your content as a tutorial list, grouped by category, or grouped by tag. iorad remembers your preference.
  • Quick-add categories
    Add or move tutorials to a category inline, choosing from your existing list or creating a new one on the spot.
  • Tag and color-code
    Apply or create tags inline, then give each tag a color so it's easy to spot at a glance.
  • Reach every action
    The 3 dot menu now shows all its options in view, with no scrolling needed.

Good to know

  • Search, sort, and the PowerFilter are all still here, with the same sort options as before.
  • More updates to this page are coming in the next few weeks.

Also in this release

To put your tutorials page first, the Dashboard section in the side panel has been renamed Analytics and moved down, next to your team functions. Nothing about how analytics work has changed.
